Megan Voll, LPC

Owner, Aspire Counseling

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Aspire Counseling, Megan Voll is a trusted source for individuals and families in their time of need. After graduating from Boston University, Megan received her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in 2006, graduating with honors. Megan’s professional background includes working at the University of Pittsburgh and Children’s Hospital of UPMC, specifically pediatric hematology/oncology and the pediatric inpatient rehabilitation unit. Her work coordinating multiple research studies and counseling families whose children are newly diagnosed with cancer, sickle cell disease, or post trauma/illness has been invaluable in supporting families who experience great levels of distress.

Megan traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada training pediatric psychologists, clinical social workers, Advanced Practice Nurses, and counselors in Bright IDEAS, a problem-solving skills training program supported by the National Cancer Institute. She has conducted trainings for over 200 psychosocial clinicians prior to major professional conferences, with special invitations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, and the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario.

Megan’s current work in private practice continues to focus on working with parents and patients impacted by childhood chronic illness. Whether navigating the challenges of a diagnosis of a medical illness, dealing with the loss of a loved one, or finding oneself overwhelmed and looking for a way to slow down and find balance in life, Aspire Counseling’s services will provide support and walk with you towards your individual goals.

I’m glad you’re here, and look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
