If you have additional questions, please feel free to CONTACT ME.

Please call (724) 364-8121 to discuss why you are seeking services and inquire about the availability of appointments. While in the office with a client, we do not answer the phone, so please leave your name, phone number, and the best time to reach you. We will make every effort to return your call on the same day, or within 24 hours (with the exceptions of weekends and holidays).

If after speaking by phone, we determine that Aspire Counseling’s services are a good match, the intake forms can be completed online before your first appointment.

Intake forms, scheduling, and payments are completed in a secure online portal. There’s no need to make multiple phone calls, leave voicemails, or wait for snail mail papers in order to get started.

We are happy to walk clients through the online process, but if you would prefer to have your intake forms mailed to you or come early to complete paperwork, don’t hesitate to inform us.

No, but we specialize in working with families, children, and teens with those unique challenges.

We also work with mothers of young children, college-aged women, and teens who are overwhelmed and looking to make changes in their lives to feel happier.

We work with individuals experiencing the following:

  • Depression
  • Stress/Relaxation
  • School/Work Problems
  • Low Self Esteem
  • Life Transitions (specifically high school to college as well as becoming new parents)
  • Women’s Issues (marriage, family, parenting)
  • Premarital Counseling (not covered by insurance, please call for rates)

The first session is the “getting to know you” session. In this session, your counselor will learn more about what brings you to Aspire Counseling. The intake forms will be reviewed and we will discuss the goals you would like to achieve in our sessions.

It’s important to know that just like anyone else in your life, you likely won’t “click” with every counselor or therapist you see. That’s ok. The relationship between the client and therapist is important to making progress and reaching goals. You will know within the first few sessions if my style is what you’re looking for. If you find that it is not, we are happy to provide referrals to other clinicians who may be a better fit.

Our approach is solution-focused and collaborative versus prescriptive. We will discuss the challenges you are facing and mutually determine what steps to take. We strive to be supportive, collaborative, goal-oriented and assist my clients in making progress.
